I'm Back

So it's been some time since I have blogged, and a great deal has happened to me in the past year. To begin with, I lost my mother on February 19. That was quite a blow and I have yet to fully recover from it. Thanks to other events, I find myself at a crossroads and in need to reinvent myself for about the sixth time in my life.

I have always lived by the motto "never give up, never give in." This philosophy has seen me through all of the tough times I've experienced, and it continues to do so today. In spite of what now seem to be countless setbacks and crises, I am still alive and well, a member of two wonderful communities, one religious and the other deeply spiritual, and I am not hungry, lonely or homeless! I have been fortunate to have been able to move into a lovely new home and I find a great deal of serenity in just being in this quiet and peaceful place.

The holidays are upon us, and I always write a Christmas letter that is widely read and I am flattered to say, appreciated. Heads up, this year's is going to be tough to write. But I will try my best, as always, to find a message of hope and peace, even in these very troubled times.

I look forward to building a new readership and I thank you for your time.
